Episode 1: Black Water

The body of a young boy is recovered from a car pulled from the harbour. The boy’s murder bears a striking similarity to another boy’s death thirteen months earlier, leading investigators on a search for the killer in hopes of finally bringing him to justice. When his principal witness dies, Sykes works to track down additional witnesses to a one-year-old boating accident in preparation for an impending court date. Rachel defies a court order prohibiting her from visiting her son.
