Episode 2: Eye Witness

When a man is killed by a speed boat deliberately driven into the back of his vessel, the detectives are unsuccessful in getting witnesses to come forward to testify when the person responsible is identified as one of Sydney’s most notorious crime figures. Sergeant McCall oversees the testing of the participants in a police drivers’ training course, one of whom is Sykes. Miranda Latham, a witness to the boating accident, approaches Rachel with her fears about being watched. When the station’s cleaner is found dead, only Hawker takes an interest in the man’s family. Rachel and Knocker become romantically involved.
